The finest radio station in the Mfantseman Municipality of the Central region, Obrumankoma FM at Mankessim, in collaboration with Daniel Buabeng Production, has done it again as they put smiles on the faces of the less privileged and vulnerable people.
This year's celebration of "Put a smile on the faces of orphans and widows" was a memorable one as people beyond the catchment area joined the programme making it a successful one.
The National President of the United Nations Association - Ghana (UNA-GH), H.E Dr. Bishop Peter Kojo Sackey, Nananom (Traditional leaders), Clergy, Musicians, Politicians, Journalists and Businessmen/women among others supported the programme with their presence, money, clothes, sneakers, shoes, sandals, bags of rice, assorted oil and drinks, education materials and other assorted items.
Speaking to NewsAfricaGh's Adom Nanaa Odiasempa Paa Solo Savvy, dignitaries who had the opportunity to honour the programme applauded the management of the station and Mr. Daniel Cudjoe Buabeng for such kind gesture. They further called on whoever has been blessed to support the less privileged and vulnerable people in the societies, not only during festive seasons but at all times.
They noted, "this year's donation is unprecedented and a sign of victory as dignitaries have graced the event with their presence to its end, making it a scope. Urged the benevolent bodies to come together and emulate what Obrumankoma FM has done to deal with the poverty situation in the country."
In an interview, the General Manager of Obrumankoma FM, Hon. Aliu Ibrahim Gambo, on his part showed his heartfelt appreciation to the management of the station, Mr Daniel Buabeng, the CEO of Daniel Buabeng Production, sponsors, staff, serial callers and everyone who contributed to the success of the occasion. He asked the generational blessings of the most high God for their lives.
Beneficiaries after the programme were excited and expressed their heartfelt gratitude to the station and the supporters of the programme for such kind gesture, seeking God's shower of blessings upon their lives.
