Internet Users Criticize A Woman For Voting For John Mahama

With the exception of the Eastern and Western Regions, the Electoral Commission (EC) is holding the Special Voting exercise in 14 regions of Ghana.

A crucial part of the election process, the exercise enables election officials, media professionals, and security officers who will be on duty at the polls on December 7 to cast their ballots ahead of time.

It is projected that 131,478 people, or 0.007 percent of the 18,741,159 registered electorate, will participate in this Special Voting.

After the EC decided to recall and reprint ballots for the Eastern and Western Regions because of an alleged security seal break, those regions were left out.

To maintain the integrity and openness of the electoral process, the special voting in these areas has been moved to Thursday, December 5.

A young woman from Ghana who participated in the special voting process has received a lot of criticism for voting for former President John Mahama.

The woman, who went by the handle @Realnaajudith, revealed on her X timeline that she voted for change and reset.

Some X users who saw her tweet appear to have been offended by her choice.
