The opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) has an upper hand to win the December 2024 elections hands-down, according to Ing. Frank Kowfie Pinto, a leading member of the NDC in Kwesimintsim Constituency of the Western Region.
The party financier who contested the NDC’s parliamentary primaries in the Kwesimintsim Constituency says barring any unforeseen circumstances, the Ghanaian electorate would use the ballot box to demonstrate to the governing New Patriotic Party (NPP) that they actually detest bad governance and therefore would show the party the exit door in December.
He was speaking to journalists shortly after donating logistics in support of the campaign of the NDC in seven (7) constituencies in the Western Region towards the 2024 elections.
Following the donation, the Engineer offered what could be described as a campaign motivational message to Ghanaian electorates.
He said he was fascinated by the level of commitment and dedication being shown by party members to galvanise the energies of Ghanaian electorates to kick the NPP out of office.
"Earlier today, I presented 7 motorbikes and about 1,000 pieces of NDC branded T-shirts, including 24-hour Economy T-shirts to some selected constituencies in the Western region.
Out of the lots, 2 motorbikes went to the Shama constituency, 2 motorbikes to the Ahanta West constituency, and 1 each to Kwesimintsim, Evalue-Ajomoro Gwira and Mpohor constituencies respectively.
Explaining what motivated the donation, Engineer Pinto noted "The reason for the selected allocation is to enable free mobility within certain areas in the selected constituencies where vehicles cannot easily go there".
This, he underscored is the first batch of 2 separate events he intends to use to carry out certain responsibilities before the main campaign begins.
"The second batch is expected to kick in very soon but will take a different form and again, will focus mainly on Kwesimintsim constituency to enable us to ‘Build The Ghana We Want Together’ he assured.
Ing. Frank Kowfie Pinto, who has been working closely with party folks to improve the electoral fortunes of the NDC in Kwesimintsim and other notable constituencies said he would leave no stone unturned until the NDC secures victory in December.
He has therefore called on the Ghanaian electorates to rally behind the policies being rolled out by the party and its flag bearer John Dramani Mahama, which includes the introduction of the 24-hour economy to bolster job creation among others.
“We want the electorates to pay attention to the superior policies being introduced by the flagbearer and our party, and vote massively for the NDC to secure an overwhelming victory" he concluded.
