2024 POLLS: We’ll Adopt A House-To-House Campaign – Asiedu Nketiah

National Chairman of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Johnson Asiedu Nketiah, has announced that the party will adopt a different campaign strategy ahead of the December polls.

According to Mr Asiedu Nketiah, the NDC will move away from large rallies seen in previous elections. Instead, the party will focus on door-to-door and personal engagement with voters.

The NDC is set to officially launch its campaign in Tamale on Saturday, July 27.

In an interview with Citi FM on Wednesday, July 24, Mr Asiedu Nketiah explained that this approach is more cost-effective.

He noted that it is cheaper for party functionaries to visit voters in their homes rather than bringing them to a central location for a rally.

“We want to reach out to the people, house-to-house campaign, retail campaign, that is where the emphasis is going to be. So, what we’re going to do in Tamale is to remind our people that this year, the campaign will be different. We must touch base with the people.

“It is cheaper for party functionaries to reach out to the people in the villages than to bring their people to a collation point to address them,” he stated.
