Akufo-Addo, Other Global Leaders To Headline Afreximbank And AfriCaribbean Trade Forum In The Bahamas



President Nana Akufo-Addo and other world leaders will headline the 31st Annual Meetings (AAM) of the African Export-Import Bank (Afreximbank) and the third AfriCaribbean Trade and Investment Forum (ACTIF).

The events to be held together in Nassau, The Bahamas, from June 12 to 14, will also be attended by Bahamian Prime Minister Philip Davis, Barbadian Prime Minister Mia Mottley, and Guyanese President Mohamed Irfaan Ali.

The gatherings will feature other African and CARICOM Heads of State, government ministers, central bank governors, CEOs, industry leaders, trade finance experts, academics, public figures, and celebrities.

The three-day event, themed ‘Owning our Destiny: Economic Prosperity on the Platform of Global Africa,’ will include keynote addresses, panel discussions, and interactive sessions.

The focus will be on addressing challenges in African and Caribbean economies, promoting growth and prosperity, and boosting intra-African trade and investment flows, including those from the diaspora.
