Late Dr Kingsley Atta Peters, Obrumankoma FM's Director
The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Obrumankoma FM, a Mankessim-based radio station in the Central Region, Dr. Kingsley Atta Peters has been confirmed dead.
NewsAfricaGh's report according to Hon. Aliu Ibrahim Gambo popularly known by many as "The Action Man", the General Manager for Obrumankoma FM on behalf of the management confirming the news expressed worry and sent heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family, friends and the staff.
Mr Gambo bemoaned that, Mr Atta Peters was pronounced dead on arrival after a brief illness at midnight at the Cape Coast Teaching Hospital after being transfered from the Mercy Women's Catholic Hospital at Mankessim.
He died on Wednesday, May 1, 2024.
The late Dr Kingsley Atta Peters passed away at the age of 87.
The sad departure of the CEO has thrown the family, management, staff and the entire residents of the area into a state of shock following the official pronouncement.
The management has suspended all the station's programmes until further notice; called on clients to mourn with them as any other development shall be communicated to them in due time.
