The Member of Parliament (MP) for the good people of Mfantseman Constituency has been hailed following the commission of a 20-seater ultra-modern KVIP toilet facility at Kwakrom with a mechanized borehole.
Speaking at the program, the MP for Mfantseman, Hon Ophelia Mensah Hayford stressed that development brings unity as she urged the constituents to remain united and also support the government to bring more development to the area.
She added, "the government has brought you a community centre, water, roads, lights, schools and toilet and the next is the CHPS compound which will provide quality healthcare."
The Deputy Director of NLA Foundation, the co-sponsor of the project, Madam Ama Frempomaa on her part emphasized, "when people stake lotto, they save part of the money to help the less privileged persons as well as the community.
She advised the public not to send their underaged children to stake lotto on their behalves and not to use all their monies on lotto in order not to neglect the welfare of their families.
The chief of Abeadze Kwakrom, Nana Akomanyi VII thanked the MP, Hon Ophelia Mensah Hayford for the facility and other projects in his community.
He also called on the MP for a CHPS Compound so that the people would not travel to nearby communities for health care.
Two National Democratic Congress (NDC) gurus of the area have also defected to NPP following the MP's good work for the community.
