KGL Foundation Extends Support Worth Thousands Of Ghana Cedis To Displaced Residents Of Keta Municipality



In a heartfelt gesture of corporate social responsibility, the KGL Foundation has stepped up to support displaced residents of the Keta Municipality by donating assorted relief items worth thousands of Ghana cedis. This initiative comes at a critical time when many families are grappling with the aftermath of displacement due to various challenges.

The foundation, known for its commitment to community development and welfare, rallied its resources to provide much-needed assistance to those affected by displacement within the municipality. Representatives of the KGL Foundation arrived in the affected areas with trucks loaded with essential items, aiming to supply the immediate needs of the residents.

Among the assortment of relief items generously donated by the foundation were blankets, clothing, food supplies, hygiene kits, and other essential provisions. These supplies are intended to provide comfort and relief to families who have been forced to leave their homes due to a range of circumstances.

Speaking on behalf of the KGL Foundation, the Programmes Mananger, Mr Nii Annorbah-Sarpei, who spoke on behalf of the CEO, Mr Elliot Daddey, expressed the organization's deep concern for the well-being of the displaced residents.

She emphasised the foundation's commitment to supporting communities in times of need and reaffirmed their dedication to making a positive impact.

"Our hearts go out to the families who have been displaced from their homes. The KGL Foundation stands in solidarity with the residents of the Keta Municipality during this challenging time," stated Mr Nii Annorbah-Sarpei. "We hope that these relief items will provide some measure of comfort and support as they navigate this difficult period."

The distribution of the relief items was carried out with meticulous care to ensure that they reached those most in need. Volunteers and staff members from the KGL Foundation worked closely with local authorities to identify areas where the impact of displacement was most acute.

Receiving the donation on behalf of the displaced residents, the Keta Municipal Chief Executive, Hon. Emmanuel Gemegah, expressed profound gratitude to the KGL Foundation for their timely intervention.
