C/R: MoMo Vendor Commits Suicide By Hanging Over Gh¢15,000 Debt

Francis Larbie, a 30-year-old Mobile Money (MoMo) Vendor has hanged himself to death in his single-room apartment at Awutu Bawjiase in the Awutu Senya West District of the Central Region over his Gh¢15,000 debt.

Reports indicate that the deceased, a MoMo Vendor who worked under a superior to have been defrauded of the aforementioned amount a few days back by an unidentified fraudster.

Irritated over the narration given by his employee over the lost money, the boss of the deceased on the suspicion that his boy had used the money for his personal stuff, mounted pressure on the deceased to refund his money, else will have him arrested.

This according to sources, led to the deceased hanging himself in his room with a sponge after his wife had departed for morning church service upon having no hopes of refunding his boss the money.

Body of the deceased has since been conveyed by the Police Command of Awutu Senya to the mortuary.
